Main Bar, Sweet Afton

“Flow gently, sweet Afton! amang thy green braes,
Flow gently, I'll sing thee a song in thy praise”

Sweet Afton Belfast is located in the historic Linen Quarter, beside sister bars The Perch, Rita's and Franklins.

It’s a bar and restaurant combined like no other in Belfast, with the theme of Burns' poem running through the interior décor with rich colours and dark wooden features covered with prose and poetry.

The venue features a beautiful large centred bar surrounded by high and low raised seating areas, and boasts numerous televisions and screens in highly visible areas around the bar. From football and rugby, to golf and GAA, Sweet Afton seeks to screen sport for all enthusiasts; details of what is being shown can be found on the social media channels throughout the week. Live musical entertainment is a regular fixture from Thursday to Sunday, including bluegrass, fiddle and banjo, and acoustic two-pieces.

The bar has a robust drinks offering, including Happy Hour from 4 to 8pm, Sunday to Thursday, and a regular rotation of monthly drinks offers, including beers, wines and cocktails at reduced prices.
